HMS Sea Wraith, or better just Sea Wraith, is a project of a British frigate from the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. The project assumed that the vessel would be approx. 138 m long, approx. 16.6 m wide, and its draft would be approx. 4.4 meters. The maximum speed was to exceed 28 knots. The deck armament was to consist of a single 114mm or 127mm cannon, two 35mm cannons, and a water-to-water and water-to-air missile launcher of unspecified types. The frigate was to be able to operate a single on-board helicopter. The Sea Wraith frigate project was developed at Vosper Thornycroft Limited for the Royal Navy. The project assumed the use of all types of technologies on a large scale that would reduce the possibility of radar detection of the presented ship. In short, the aim was to use many stealth technologies and the emphasis was placed on minimizing the possibility of infrared detection of the ship. These overarching targets influenced the somewhat futuristic shape of the Sea Wraith and determined the placement of sensors and radar antennas on the ship. It was also assumed that the frigate would be able to operate the so-called drones. Ultimately, however, the project was not implemented.
