We are very pleased to announce that new JSC’s model is now available at jsc.pl
This is the passenger ship “Rotterdam”, JSC 410, scale 1: 400.

Rotterdam has a traditional framework - waterline, longitudinal and frames. This is not typical for JSC (as we often use a triangular beam with frames). The model is designed in such way, that it can be glued either with underwater or without underwater part. The full hull version perfectly fits into the model of JSC 092 - floating dock “Ostrów II”.

There are three versions to choose from:
I. Original Rotterdam version (the 60’s)

II. Version from late 90's. The ship was renamed “Rembrandt” and repainted. “Rembrandt” has got different  sides color and some details.

III. Current version as a hotel in Rotterdam

You can optionally attach the door printed next to the part. Foil railings are also included.

In addition, you can buy 3 sets of laser parts:
- framework
- details
- dedicated railings

SS Rotterdam (or STS Rotterdam, SS Rembrandt or SS Rotterdam V) was a Dutch passenger ship, the so-called by ocean liner, from the post-war period. The vessel was launched in 1958 and it entered service in 1959. The total length of the vessel at the time of launching was 228.2 meters, the overall width was 28.7 meters, and the capacity was approximately 39,700 GRT. The maximum speed was around 21-22 knots. The ship's crew consisted of 776 people. SS Rotterdam was built at Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maatschapij for the Dutch shipping line Nederlandsche-Amerikaansche Stoom. The vessel, as one of the first ocean liners, had a gym at the stern, it was also characterized by very modern equipment, as well as very careful workmanship and well thought-out ship architecture solutions. Overall, she was seen as very successful throughout her service, and was the flagship of the Dutch merchant fleet during her service. Until 1971, SS Rotterdam served as a transatlantic liner, and was later converted into a cruise ship. The vessel was withdrawn from the service of maritime passenger shipping in 2000.
