IBG 35027 Skoda 10cm LeFH 14/19 (t)

10 cm leFH 14/19 (t)[pełna nazwa: 10 cm leichte Feldhaubitze 14/19 (Tschehoslowakei)] is a German 100 mm light towed howitzer made in Czechoslovakia during World War II. The initial velocity of the shell fired from this gun was up to 395 m / s, with a maximum range of about 9950 meters. The weight of the weapon on the battlefield was approximately 1,500 kilograms.

The 10 cm leFH 14/19 (t) howitzer was initially marked 100 mm houfnice vz 14/19 and was produced by the Skoda plants for the Czechoslovak army. It was a successful modernization of the vz 14 howitzer of the same caliber, which was used on a large scale in the Austro-Hungarian army during World War I. After the annexation of Czechoslovakia in 1939 and the creation of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, a significant part of the 100 mm houfnice vz 14/19 guns was incorporated into the Wehrmacht and renamed 10 cm leFH 14/19 (t). It is worth adding that the German troops treated this gun as inferior to their own leFH 18 howitzer and directed it to equip secondary and tertiary units. Also, no intensive works related to the development of this structure were carried out. As an interesting fact, the German army took over many howitzers 100 mm houfnice vz 14/19 (as captured equipment) also in Poland, Greece or Yugoslavia, but these guns had different markings, although in essence they were almost identical construction!
