The Nissan MID4 is a Japanese sports concept car that was first presented to the public in 1985 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Single copies of this car were made in the years 1985-1987. The Nissan MID4 was created to test in practice various design, mechanical and stylistic solutions, which later - probably - would be used in a series-produced sports car that would be able to compete with Ferrari or Porsche models. Two versions of this car were made. The first one, designated MID4 or MID4 I, was powered by a 3-liter VG30DE engine and was able to accelerate to 249 km / h. Two years later, in 1987, the MID4 II version appeared, presented for the first time at the Tokyo Motor Show. The main difference was the use of an upgraded engine from the previous 330 HP version. Neither version of the Nissan MID4 ever entered mass production.
