Baureihe 24 (another designation: Oi2 or BR24) is a series of passenger steam locomotives (steam locomotives), which were produced in the period 1928-1940 by several German companies, including: Henschel, Hanomag or Schichau. The length of a single locomotive (with the tender) was 16.99 meters, and the service weight - 100.8 tons. The diameter of the driving wheels was 1500 mm, and the locomotive had 1'C h2 axles.

The Baureihe 24 steam locomotives were commissioned by German railways as locomotives for hauling passenger trains with relatively low passenger capacity - mainly regional ones. Until 1939, they served mainly in Bavaria and Württemberg, but during World War II they were transferred to Pomerania and East Prussia. After 1945, about 35 locomotives of this type were taken over by PKP, which changed their designations to Oi2, and a large part of the remaining locomotives produced went to the West German railways. They served in Poland until 1976.
