The Kawasaki 1000GG is a Japanese-French racing motorcycle that was first presented to the public in the early 1970s. Kawasaki 1000GG was created on the basis of the Kawasaki 1000 Z1 motorcycle in a company founded by two French: Georges Godier and Alain Genoud based in the city of Viry. Compared to the original, the motorcycle has undergone many changes. First of all, it uses a changed, reinforced frame and a completely different steering system. The engine underwent a change, although not a revolution, which now generated 90 hp at 8,000 rpm. The aerodynamic properties have also been improved. The machine's performance was very good, especially the top speed, which was up to 230 km / h. The bike also held up well to the road and was relatively easy to handle for its class of motorbike. Most importantly, the Kawasaki 1000GG won the prestigious Bol d'Or race twice in 1974 and 1975.
