Choroszy Modelbud B05 CAMS - 30E

CAMS-30 was a French biplane training and passenger boat from the interwar period. The flight of the prototype took place in 1923, and serial production started a year later (1924). The drive was provided by a single engine Hispano-Suiza L-4 with 150 hp. The machine did not have on-board weapons. Its length was 9.38 meters with a wingspan of 12.4 meters. CAMS-30 was designed by Eng. Rafael Conflenti for Chantiers Aero-maritimes de la Seine (CAMS for short). Initially, it was assumed that the new machine would be recognized by the French Navy or aviation, but unfortunately, in terms of construction, these calculations completely failed. Therefore, CAMS decided to offer the aircraft on foreign markets, and the recipient of the aircraft turned out to be Poland, which from 1926 used four such machines in the line. In total, two main versions of this flying boat were created: CAMS-30E (military version used by Poland) and CAMS-30T (civilian passenger version with enlarged cabin).
