The Leningrad armored draisine is a Soviet self-propelled armored draisine from the Second World War. The draisine was developed and produced in 1941 at Zak³ady im. Kirov in Leningrad. The armament consisted of eight DT and DA-2 machine guns cal. 7.62 mm. The crew consisted of 7 to 8 people. The design of the Leningrad armored draisine was based on a biaxial chassis, to which armor plates with a thickness of 8 to 12 mm were added. The issue of placing machine guns was solved in an interesting way, which was placed in both stationary casemates and rotating towers, which ensured that all fields in front of the trolley were covered with fire. It is worth adding that the towers used were exactly the same as in the BT-2 tank. The draisine took an intensive part in the course of the German-Soviet war in 1941-1945, fighting mainly in the Leningrad region in 1941-1944.
