The TKS autotransporter is a Polish prototype truck designed for transporting TKS tankettes. The vehicle was based on the suspension and chassis of the Ursus A car. This very unusual transporter was created primarily for economic reasons - it was supposed to reduce the life of the tracks and the suspension of TKS tankettes while they were moving under dirt roads. Interestingly, the car did not have its own propulsion, and this was the role of the tankette's drive unit. At the back of the car transporter there was a loading ramp on which the TKS was driven, partially removing the tracks from it, and special chains were attached to its front wheels, which powered the rear wheels of the car. Interestingly, several dozen vehicles of this type were probably built, but they were almost certainly not used in the September campaign in 1939.
